What does Sieradenmeisje sell?

We sell the most beautiful vintage and antique jewelry. They have already lived a life, yet can last for generations to come. In doing so, together with you, we hope to care for our planet just a little more. And honestly, these pieces are far too beautiful to be left gathering dust. Sieradenmeisje also has its own collection of gold jewelry, crafted from both recycled and newly sourced gold. Our collection ranges from classic rings and bracelets with a modern twist to earrings set with colorful gemstones. You will find mainly vintage rings in our shop. But be sure to also explore our bracelets, charms & pendants, and earrings.

What quality can I expect?

We sell vintage jewelry in good condition. Every piece is carefully inspected and tested before it is offered for sale. If needed, it is polished, reinforced, or repaired. The jewelry is also professionally cleaned and buffed — completely ready for a second life. We verify the authenticity and quality of the materials used, such as the gold and gemstones. You will receive a certificate with your purchase listing all relevant details and characteristics. Please keep in mind that these are pre-owned pieces. It is normal for them to show light signs of wear. If there are any notable features or imperfections, we will always mention them in the product description.

Do I get a certificate?

All of our new and vintage jewelry comes with a handwritten certificate of authenticity. The certificate includes details such as the gold karat, weight, and gemstone properties. If possible, we’ll also include the piece's age and origin. This certificate serves as a handy overview for you and can be useful if you ever decide to sell or pass the piece on to another sieradenmeisje (jewelry girl).

Ring size
Can you resize the ring?

Spotted a beautiful ring in our shop, but not in your size? Most rings are suitable for adjustment. We offer a resizing service (resizing): 50 euros for downsizing and starting from 75 euros for upsizing. This applies to adjustments up to a two-size difference. Please select the desired resizing and add it to your order. Note: as it is a custom-made product, your right to return will be voided.

Not sure if resizing is needed?

If you're unsure whether resizing the ring is necessary, we recommend ordering it without resizing. Many customers find that the ring fits as is, since there’s a margin within sizes. Ring sizes vary by just a quarter millimeter. Also, sometimes a ring fits on a different finger or hand, like the fingers of your dominant hand being slightly thicker. Temperature can also affect the fit, and keep in mind that wider bands tend to fit more snugly than narrower ones, due to the larger surface area around your finger.

Order and payment
How can I order?

You can easily place your order in our shop. Add the item to your shopping cart. You find the shopping cart at the top right corner. Then click on 'proceed to checkout'. At the checkout you can enter your details and choose the desired payment method. After completing the payment you will receive a confirmation email from us.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay safely and securely with iDEAL, creditcard (VISA, Mastercard and Amex), Bancontact, Sofort, Apple Pay and Klarna (pay later). Payment options may differ, depending on your location.

Do you offer layaways / payment plans?

Have you fallen in love with one of our jewelry pieces, but would prefer to pay in installments? You can reserve an item with a 25% deposit. This deposit is final and non-refundable. After placing the deposit, you will have 2 to 3 months to pay the remaining balance. These payment terms are flexible and can be arranged together. We will ship the item once the full amount has been paid. If you decide to return the item, the amount will be issued as store credit. contact us to discuss your reservation and payment plan.

Shipping and delivery
Is shipping free?

Yes, we offer free shipping within the Netherlands and Belgium. You will receive your tracking number by email to track your order and to adjust the delivery if necessary.

What's the delivery time?

Delivery within the Netherlands takes 1 to 3 business days. We ship orders at least three times a week. You can track your order and adjust delivery options via the provided track & trace link. Have you also ordered ring resizing? Then the delivery time is approximately 8 business days.

Do you ship international?

We offer shipping within Europe. Our shipping fees are based on DHL and PostNL rates. We think it’s important to use a tracked and insured shipping service, to make sure your package will arrive safely. Delivery will take up to 5 business days.

The Netherlands and Belgium: Free shipping.
Europe zone 1 – Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden: 15 euro.
Europe zone 2 – All other European countries: 20 euro.
Worldwide: 34 euro or send us a message to discuss the possibilities.

Returns and warranty
Can I return my order?

That’s possible! You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it. Please let us know by email that you would like to return your order, and we will send you the return instructions. Please note: Gift cards and rings that have been custom-sized using our resizing service are not eligible for returns.

You are responsible for ensuring a safe return shipment. Once we have received your return in good condition, we will send you a confirmation email. You will receive a full refund to the same account used for payment. We process refunds as quickly as possible, but no later than 6 business days.

Do you offer warranty?

We offer a one-month warranty on vintage jewelry and a three-month warranty on new jewelry from our Sieradenmeisje collection. If you have a problem with your item within this period, we will solve it for you free of charge. The warranty is not valid if defects are caused by your own actions, such as improper use, or if you have attempted to repair the jewelry yourself or had it repaired by a third party.
